Stainless Design recognises that the growth of the business in a competitive environment is dependent upon our ability to develop people to perform at a consistently high level.

With this in mind we have established a facility to enable the continual development of our people.

By working on real business issues and solving day-to-day problems, our team will gain NZQA approved unit standards in Competitive Manufacturing. This will be determined by the results of a demonstrated understanding of the use of the ‘Lean Tools’ such as Root Cause Analysis and Value Stream Mapping.

Stainless Design’s Training Centre is also home to the Waikato Lean Gemba Academy which is a partnership between Stainless Design, Kaizen Institute NZ and Skills 4 Work.

It is an opportunity for organisations and individuals who wish to learn more about lean to participate in the training courses put together and run by Lean experts and enables participants to see how lean thinking is applied first hand in an organisation.
